Finance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager/Financial Controller to join our finance team and support the company’s continued growth. This role is ideal for a professional with solid accounting and reporting experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a dynamic finance department.
You will work closely with multiple departments and senior management, playing an active role in improving financial visibility and supporting business decision-making. Given the size of the company, curiosity, adaptability, and a hands-on mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
· Support the month-end and year-end close processes
· Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, and cost analysis
· Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying variances and trends
· Collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial data
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
· Support internal controls and help improve financial processes and documentation
· Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party providers as needed
· Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and projects to support business decisions
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Solid knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP preferred)
· Proven experience in financial reporting and month-end close
· Experience with inventory management and cost accounting
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment
· Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a small-company setting
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
· Background in a Big Four or similar professional services firm
· 5 years of relevant experience
· CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
· Experience in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial company
