Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

About the position

As Procurement Manager, you will drive procurement initiatives across our Central Europe Market Business Unit (MBU), working closely with local teams, Operations leadership, and Group Procurement to strengthen supplier performance, optimize costs, and implement procurement best practices.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate procurement activities across the MBU

• Drive strategic sourcing, category management, tenders, and supplier development initiatives

• Develop and optimize supplier networks to ensure competitiveness, quality, delivery performance, innovation, and sustainability

• Drive cost-saving initiatives and contribute to profitability targets

• Promote synergies and procurement best practices across countries and regions within the MBU

• Support and coach regional procurement leaders and teams in day-to-day to implementation of

  strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with ESG and CSR requirements

Who we are looking for

• Academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management, preferrable within an international business environment and matrix organization

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes (P2S, S2C, P2P)

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent German and English required; additional languages such as Spanish, Swedish, Italian, or French are an advantage

• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 50%)
